About us:

I am a stay at home mother of two boys age eight and five, they are the enjoyments of my life. As time goes by so fast and they growing like weeds; I decided to start my own company making a difference in the lives of moms of all kind. (Dads and grandparents can use this too if they would like.)

Many of us are alike. We want our kids to look good when going out in public. To accomplish that comes with a cost, sometimes an expensive one. I have gone to many consignment shops and have bought nice clothes from them. I have brought my stuff to consignment stores as well. By the time I spend gas money, bringing the clothes there, and taking the time, it is really not worth my effort when they take most of the profit. I was getting fed up not getting much for my nice name brand and off brand good quality clothes. So that is why I have started Frugal X.

What our company does:

For a low yearly membership you can send in your clothes, get credits, and shop our inventory for an exchange. All you do is pay shipping to and from. You earn credits by sending in merchandise. The more merchandise we receive from you, the more credits you get, and the larger our inventory becomes. All merchandise will be inspected by the company, and then you can look in your account to see how many credits were rewarded you. We want to make it as simple as possible for you the consumer, so everything is one point. When you send in 5 items that are approved, you can then pick 5 items out of our inventory. You can pick what you want. No more waiting in long lines to get a great deal! No more driving around town to find that garage sale to get a great deal and spending gas money. Moms and dads, time is precious. We are all busy driving our children to their area events and do not have much time to shop. So this is an answer to every ones dilemma.

Here is how the credits work:

One point - Clothes in great condition (no stains, little show of wear, and no holes). We know we are all human and miss things, but please inspect your clothes carefully. Only send in clothes that you would still put on your kids or wear yourself. We don't want customers to get upset, because they don't get a point because of a stain or hole that the company finds. All items sent to the company are company's property. Once we get your items we will keep inventory in stock for six months. After six months all the clothes will be donated to local charities.

The reason for membership is so our company can offer you the consumer, great customer service and for operating expenses. Also in fairness of all customers we will be watching any red flags of consigners or resellers trying to wipe us out of our best inventory and leaving the consumer with nothing to choose from. Please when shopping around try not to be greedy, and be considerate of other members. At any time we feel any customer abusing the membership we will send an email. Our company probably won't have any items that are the same; so once you complete the check out process the item will be taken out of inventory. A member can always send in as many items they want into the company. Due to fairness please be considerate of others.

Items we do not accept:

We do not accept bras, hats, underwear, headbands, swimsuits, shoes, socks, or anything that would be considered undergarments or personal. As of right now, we are only accepting gently used clothing of all sizes, shapes, and styles.

How it works:

What will happen once we get the clothes that you send to our company?

  1. We will look at the form that you filled out and make sure it matches how many items that you sent.
  2. We will inspect the clothes. Once we do this, we will put in your account on the company's site how many credits you received. We will do our best to give you as many credits as possible. However, if you send us an outfit or item with a hole in it, or stain, we will not be able to use it, therefore, we will not be able to give you a point. It is very important to make sure you look the clothes over, that they are clean, and don't smell.

  3. We will list the approved items in our inventory.
  4. You take your credits earned, and pick items that others have sent in.

Example:

If you send in items totalling 5 credits, you choose items totaling 5 credits, and then all you pay is shipping to and from.
